A change in plans

Hello all! I know that I said I would post about my super secret project last weekend but I am unbelievably busy right now! I am moving! That's right, I'm moving! But not to a different state or anything, I am still living in Orange County! I'm only moving about 7 minutes away from where I  live now! But, it's still a big change! Now, we live in an apartment and we are moving to a house. I can't wait to have more room to run and play! This also means that I won't be able to post frequently or tell you about my super secret project until I get settled in. Anyways, I will update more once I get moved in! Now I have to think about all of the stuff I need to pack! TOODLES!

Whipped Cream for Penny!

                                                                My whippy cream dish!
                                                               "Oh...this is yummy!''
                                                           Sexy pose dedicated to Penny
''Whippy cream all over my face!''
Mom trying to clean my face

Hello all! I know that we have all been very upset about Penny the beefy and sexy pug's death. But we can all agree that her years were some great ones! I don't know very many moms that would drive to Starbucks whenever their puggy wished to get them whippy cream! I hope that she is having the time of her life at the bridge and eats all the whippy cream the world can offer! So today, in honor of Penny, Nick and I ate a dish of whippy cream, thinking of Penny and saying little prayers for her. Even though most of us didn't know her personally, we loved reading about her adventures each day! So please eat some whippy cream for her, and pray that she has a great life! There will never be a pug that replace her beefiness and sexiness! Rest in Peace Penny!

Alphapug?

                                                          "Give me my food already!''

Hello all! My family is convinced that I'm trying to be the alphapug of the family. That is where they are wrong, I am not trying to be the alphapug, I am the alphapug! I peed on the bed the other day which kind of upset them and then they read on some site that dogs do that to be the alphadog. According to the site, I am peeing on the bed to cover up Nick's scent. Which is partially true... So now they are trying to make Nick the alphadog instead of me! They are feeding him first and giving him the first pick of toys! They think that if I'm the alphapug Nick would follow my lead and also act all crazy. Well, what can you expect from a pug puppy?

Anywho, today is an awesome day! For those of you who live in the Southern California area, you probably know where the O.C fairgrounds are. Well, Friday, Saturday, and today is the pet expo! There are tons of adoptable animals, and pet talent shows and booths all about animals! There is all sorts of goodies like dog treats, and accessories! Also, there is FOOD! The only thing missing is me. For some reason, you're not allowed to bring your pet unless you have a booth there. That is sooo not fair! How can you keep a pug away from all that stuff? I will ask my mom to take pictures to post on here of todays activities. Luckily, she agreed to buy me some goodies, which kind of makes up for it! Time for a nap, TOODLES!

Easter time!

                                                       The eggs we dyed.

                                                  Me hunting for Easter eggs.

                                                     Any eggies out here?

                                                       The Easter eggies I collected.

Happy Easter! Spring has officially sprung! Which means alot more pugs at the park! Today has been a great day! I ate pringles chips, I dyed eggs, I went for a Easter egg hunt and found some tasty eggies! My dad made ham, corn, potatoes, and we bought a cake for Easter Dinner! Of course I couldn't eat any of this, but I could smell it! I have some more great news! Carina is doing alot better now, and lots of people have been sending donations to that poor puggie! But, I also have bad/good news, the good news is they found Carina's sister, Carisa. She was at a different shelter but they are sure they are sisters, since they are the same age, and have similar issues. The bad news, Carisa also has severe Demodex Mange, not as bad as Carina though! So please continue to pray for them and send donations! Back to Easter news, mom said that the Easter Bunny visited today. I'm not so sure I'm happy with the idea of a giant bunny breaking into my house! But, since he left me some treats, I guess I'll let it slide this time! Did any of you feel the earthquake today? It lasted 45 seconds and it was like a 6.2 magnitude! I was sooooo scared! Well, gotta get back to playing games with the family, TOODLES!

Visitor Alert!

                                                                  Albert the Japanese Chin
                                                                  Me Hanging Out

Hello! Happy Wednesday! We have a guest at my house currently! His name is Albert and he is a Japanese Chin. I asked him if he likes sushi since he's from Japan, but he said he has never tried it. Truthfully, I've never tried it either... Anyways, Albert will be staying with us until Saturday I think. He doesn't seem to like me that much, but I enjoy following him around. I also have some more big news for you guys! For those of you considering getting a pug, here is a great pug rescue organization that you should definitely check out. I recently went to the Pugs 'N Pals Adoption Fair and saw some of the sweetest cutest pugs/pug mixes that are looking for a loving home. Some of these dogs have been through unimaginable things. Carina, a 6 month old pug, has terrible demodex mange that her owner never cared to fix. She looks like a burn victim, with severe bloody sores that crack and the left side of her face is paralyzed. She has an infected left eye, and here ears are damaged. She is loaded with fleas, and ticks. Pugs 'N Pals is doing everything they possibly can to help her, but the procedures she must go through are very expensive. If you are interested in making a donation or reading the full story , please visit their website: http://www.pugdogrescue.com/index.html
or their blog: http://pugsnpals.blogspot.com/
It is unbelievable that any puppy should endure this much pain, so please help this poor pug! I've also gotten demodex mange before, since it's common in pugs, but it wasn't nearly as bad as that. Have any of you ever had demodex mange or any other diseases? Well, I will keep you guys posted on how life with Albert goes, TOODLES!

Patty the Pug is Back and Better than Ever!

"Can I have some more, please?''
                                                                 "Meat is yummy!''
"Any meat in here?''

Helloooo! I know, I know... you are probably wondering where I have been this past month. Well, did it ever occur to you that a pug like me might have a life! I know, I can't even believe that one myself! But I can honestly say I have been very busy!! Anywho, I am now going to post at least once a week! Normally I will post more than that, but if I'm having a busy week then I'll try to make one post! So today dad is making meatballs and it wouldn't be complete without him sharing some with me so I gave him the pug stare and he gave me a small piece of ground beef! Ground beef is delicious!!!!!!!! Last week my owners went to the farmers market.....without me! They said that they couldn't take me that day because they were riding bikes there and I'm to fat to fit in their backpack! What is that supposed to mean? Maybe I should cut down a few treats........  Anyways, when they came back they were bragging about all of the good foods they ate there and how many dogs they saw...including a pug! I missed good food and a pug! It only made things worse when they mentioned how they had brought Nick before. If he can fit it in the backpack then why wouldn't I? He is alot bigger than me! Last night I wanted to watch T.V peacefully with my loving family when all of a sudden I heard a scream and started freaking out! Turns out it was coming from the the scary movie on the teletubby or whatever T.V stands for. So my family decided maybe it was best to change the channel. We ended up watching one of my fav. movies, Homeward Bound! That's all so toodles!
